Thank you!!!

FABopLZ2S369s1IwOdawwQThank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who helped make Sunday’s Lobsterfest and Silent Auction a success! Special thanks to our sponsors who so generously donated their time, talents, products and services so we could continue to help our community children and the Uganda project! Here are some photos from the day!

A special belated happy birthday to our president, Nan Dubin – who spent her entire birthday being an important part of the Lobsterfest and Silent Auction, showing that Rotarians are awesome and totally put service above self!

Annual Fishing Derby and Clinic

Today was a beautiful day for our Rotary Club’s annual fishing derby and clinic. Rotarians were out to help make it a fun day for area children and their families. Lots of smiles, lots of fish and lots of fun! Thanks to all who came out to participate and all those Rotarians in our small but mighty club that always make it all work for our community!

Visitors

Since the Wallingford Rotary Club is entrusted with the stewardship of the Paul Harris “little red schoolhouse”, our Rotary club often has the wonderful opportunity to have visiting Rotarians from all over the world stop in for a meeting or a visit. This past Saturday, we were able to open our doors for a little while for a Kansas Rotarian who was visiting the area for a wedding. Chuck Udell from Kansas and I had a great time while he got a quick tour of the little red schoolhouse.

If you are a Rotarian and will be in the “neighborhood” please reach out to us even if you can’t make one of our Monday meetings. If at all possible, one of us will  do our best to try to arrange to meet you at a mutually convenient time and give you the tour. There’s lot of Rotary history to see at the little red schoolhouse and we love to meet our fellow Rotarians!
