ROTARY LASAGNA DINNER

LITTLE RED SCHOOLHOUSE

SATURDAY APRIL 6TH

5:00-6:30 PM

Dinner includes homemade meat or vegetable lasagna, green salad, bread and assorted desserts. Cost is $15 per person dine in or take away $8 for children 8 and under.

Online ticket sales have closed. There are a limited number of “walk-in” spots available on a “first come, first served” basis.

Annual Fishing Derby

Wallingford Rotary held its annual fishing derby and clinic on Saturday June 10th. A bit shout out to our community without whom the event would not be possible and to our Fishing Derby Chairperson, Don Glendenning who once again put together an amazing community event. Some of the day’s highlights:

A few highlights of the day:

  1. We had 50 registered student fisherman ranging in age from 18 months to 15 years old, all where attended by a guardian.
  2. There were approximately 40 plus fish caught between 9 and 12 inches, a few may have missed the measuring station.
  3. We had ten Rotarians attend this morning and  assist from set up to take down. We had assistant for other members with prizes and supplies, once again support from all.
  4. Our grill master, Jay White cooked 120 hotdogs, the official hot dog count between the 50 students and the 10 Rotarians is still be calculated.

Here are some pictures of a wonderful community event, uniting young and the young at heart members of our community, first time fishers and experienced mentors and resulted in a whole lot of fun for all involved.

      Hello! We meet on Mondays at 7 a.m. We just had a hybrid in person/zoom meeting this morning. If you give me your email, I will ask that they include you so you know about the upcoming meetings and agenda. 🙂 Tammy

    We will have meetings on 8/1 and 8/7. We also have a Lobster Fest on Sunday 8/27 if you would like to attend. Tickets are $35 each in advance for lobster or steak. If you’d like to provide your email, we can include you on the future agendas for meeting information and attendance options.

    There are hotels in Rutland, VT which is about 15 minutes away, that is probably the closest with hotels.

    96 North Main Street Wallingford is the Little Red Schoolhouse where the meetings occur. The Post Office Box is the mailing address.
