Wallingford Rotary’s Hungarian exchange student, Eszter Toth and Rotarian Nan Dubin both made the New York Times today! We’re so very proud of both of them since we love to see what our Rotarians and our exchange students are doing in the community. In addition to all the other aspects of settling into a new country, Eszti has also decided to take on Arabic lessons while she is staying here in Wallingford. The Arabic lessons are being taught in Rutland for free in preparation for the Syrian refugees who are anticipated to arrive in Rutland.
If you are interested in participating in the lessons or want more information, you can join the free lessons at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Rutland. The lessons will be held on Monday through Thursday from 5:30-7:30pm.The dates are Jan. 2nd- Jan. 5th and Jan. 9th- Jan. 12th. Any questions email morgandenehy@gmail.com
